Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serkan Yılmaz, a faculty member of the Department of Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Dentistry, has been accepted by the Department of Radiation Oncology at the David Geffen School of Medicine, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), in the United States, as part of his application to the TÜBİTAK 2219 International Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program.

The TÜBİTAK 2219 International Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program supports researchers in enhancing their scientific productivity, developing international academic collaborations, and advancing their academic expertise.

The research planned to be conducted at UCLA is expected to contribute to the development of international scientific collaborations, increase knowledge and experience sharing, and enhance the international academic visibility of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University.

As the Faculty of Dentistry, we are pleased that the scientific studies carried out by our faculty members at national and international levels contribute to the academic development of our University and the establishment of new scientific collaborations.
