At Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Dentistry, a Department Chairs Meeting was held to evaluate the educational activities carried out within the scope of the National Core Curriculum for Dentistry (DUÇEP) and to improve the relevant program processes.

During the meeting, studies aimed at increasing the alignment of the Faculty’s educational processes with the national standards established under DUÇEP were evaluated. In this context, the current practices of the departments, course and curriculum contents, and recommendations for improving educational processes were discussed.

In addition, views were exchanged on developing educational programs in line with current needs, strengthening students’ professional knowledge and skills, and carrying out activities aimed at continuous improvement of the quality of education. The meeting also included evaluations regarding the roadmap to be followed in accordance with DUÇEP and strengthening coordination among the departments.

As Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Dentistry, we will continue our efforts to improve educational processes in accordance with national standards and ensure continuous improvement in the quality of education, in line with our goal of training qualified and competent dental professionals.
