Stanford University's ranking, which evaluates data from over 200,000 scientists in the top 2% across 22 different fields and 174 sub-disciplines based on variables such as scientific h-index, balanced co-authored h-index, number of citations, author order and number, and self-citation rate, is as follows: The resulting ranking was published in the Elsevier database in two separate categories: Annual Impact and Career Impact.
