Handover Ceremony for the Department of Agricultural Genetic Engineering Headship

The handover ceremony for the Headship of the Department of Agricultural Genetic Engineering—part of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University—was held with the participation of Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Ahmet Şekeroğlu, Vice Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Halil Toktay and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Ünal, as well as department faculty members, academic staff, and the faculty secretary.

Prof. Dr. Sedat Serçe, the outgoing Head of the Department of Agricultural Genetic Engineering, provided information regarding the department's current status, ongoing academic and administrative work, and continuing activities. The position was handed over to Prof. Dr. Zahide Neslihan Öztürk, and views were exchanged regarding the work to be carried out in the new term and the activities planned under the department headship.

During the handover program, the department's educational activities, academic work, current projects, and activities planned for the upcoming period were evaluated. Following the sharing of views and suggestions between the faculty administration and the department's academic staff, assessments regarding the new term were made. Speaking at the event, Dean Prof. Dr. Şekeroğlu presented a certificate of appreciation to the outgoing Head of Department for his contributions during his tenure and wished the new Head of Department success in her role. The handover program concluded with the exchange of mutual well-wishes.
