  1. Defines the theoretical concepts that form the basis of occupational therapy, including the nature of human activities and activity performance.
  2. Compares, evaluates, and applies practice models that incorporate multidisciplinary knowledge and its use on individuals and communities.
  3. Explains the relationship between health, well-being, and activity performance by using activity methods to prevent illness and promote wellness.
  4. Analyzes sensorimotor, cognitive, and psychosocial skills and explains their relationship with activity.
  5. Conducts activity-related research within the context of a changing society and evaluates the complexity of established theories.
  6. Critically analyzes individuals, intervenes, and re-evaluates them in order to develop intervention strategies.
  7. Establishes partnerships with relevant individuals and groups to apply appropriate interventions for health promotion, disease prevention, rehabilitation, and treatment.
  8. Selects, modifies, and applies appropriate theories and practice models to meet the activity and health needs of individuals/communities.

  15. Works in various settings such as hospitals, private clinics, special education and rehabilitation centers, home care services, nursing homes, workplaces, schools, universities, and government institutions.
