2To learn the methods of assessing nutritional status and providing the ability to interpret the nutritional status of the individual

4To understand the roles of macronutrients in metabolism and their importance in diet planning
5To learn the effects of micronutrients and fluid intake on health and interpreting the risks of deficiency and excessive intake
