Course Objective
The aim of this course is to provide the student with theoretical knowledge and skills about the practices that can be done at the place of the event and at the most appropriate time, and the precautions to be taken in order to save the life of the injured or injured and to prevent possible injuries in life-threatening emergencies in disasters.
Brief Content of the Course
Basic concepts of disasters and first aid, why should first aid be integrated into disaster organization, principles of first aid, features that should be in first aid, in disasters; evaluation of the patient/injured, basic first aid practices, respiratory and circulatory arrest and basic life support (adults and children), ways to avoid accidents, patient and injured transport techniques.
