Course Objective
This course aims to have clothes designs made for babies and children and to provide the necessary technical knowledge and application skills about designs. Encouraging students to think about design and production techniques such as sustainable sourcing, upcycling and zero waste.
Brief Content of the Course
Children body structures/anatomies, their development and measurement systems, suitable fabric, model and color preferences for children, selection of models suitable for the type of clothing, selection of fabric suitable for the model, ornementation techniques and accessories, the process of designing and producing children clothes according to different age and gender groups. Design and production techniques such as sustainable sourcing, upcycling and zero waste.
