Course Objective
To provide students with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to design and evaluate the environment for healthy, safe, comfortable, aesthetic clothing design and clothing production.
Brief Content of the Course
Definition of ergonomics, its historical development and related disciplines, macroscopic anatomical structure of the human body, movement systems, anthropometry, necessary body measurements, body proportions and types in clothing production, movement systems in clothing design, human-machine interface, psycho-sociological approaches, environmental conditions , lighting and noise, regulation of the working environment in the garment business, Sustainable ergonomic approaches.
