Course Objectives 
1Students develop a clinical and holistic approach to respiratory system diseases.
2Students gain skills in taking detailed medical history and performing physical examinations in pulmonary diseases.
3Students should be able to interpret chest X-rays, thoracic CT scans, pulmonary function tests, and arterial blood gas results at a basic level.
4Students should understand the principles of diagnosis and treatment of common respiratory diseases such as asthma, COPD, pneumonia, tuberculosis, and lung cancer.
5Students should be able to apply appropriate first aid in cases of acute respiratory failure and hypoxemia.
6The aim is to develop students' awareness of patient safety, ethical principles, patient rights, and teamwork.
