Course Objectives 
1They should be knowledgeable about normal pregnancy and prenatal care, and be able to perform long-term follow-up and monitoring in primary care settings.
2Should be knowledgeable about the course and progression of normal labor and delivery, be able to identify emergencies and provide emergency treatment, and when necessary, be able to refer and manage deliveries to specialists under appropriate conditions.
3Should be knowledgeable about normal postpartum care and be able to provide long-term follow-up and monitoring in primary care settings.
4They should be knowledgeable about methods for assessing high-risk pregnancies, be able to diagnose them, and be knowledgeable about treatment. They should be able to perform the necessary preliminary procedures, refer patients to specialists, and implement appropriate preventive measures (primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention as applicable).
5They should be knowledgeable about abortions, be able to make a preliminary diagnosis, perform the necessary preliminary procedures, and refer the patient to a specialist.
