Course Objective
To have information about health insurance and payment systems.
Brief Content of the Course
Social security system and methods, health system, functions and classification, market, market failures, government intervention and health insurance, health expenditures and factors determining health expenditures, health services financing and resources, historical development of health and insurance, concept of insurance and health insurance , definitions, objectives, risks and benefits, the importance of insurance and health insurance, functions, parties, types, and different from other insurance, health insurance, payment methods and comparison and payment methods in Turkey, the historical development of social health insurance and private health insurance in Turkey the social and private health insurance in Turkey are scheduled evaluation of the status and health insurance.
