Course Objective
The aim of this course is to read and evaluate these works with a critical eye by focusing on the writing processes of basic sociological texts, how sociologists write these works in a social context and perspective; to internalize the sociological imagination; to develop writing awareness in accordance with scientific principles and to gain academic knowledge and skills in accordance with ethical behavior.

In general, the ethical frameworks of the individual in the education process and, in particular, of science and sociology as a profession are emphasized. The course covers how to prepare and write texts such as exams, homework, presentations, and theses; and how to convey other people's ideas in a text in what way and form would be appropriate. It includes how to give a reference and explaining the techniques of doing so in practice.
