Course Objective
This course aims to understand the nature, causes, and consequences of social problems, and to evaluate possible solutions to these problems from a social work perspective.
Brief Content of the Course
This course addresses the conceptual framework of social problems, their underlying causes, and possible solutions from a social work perspective. Current social issues such as poverty, unemployment, migration, social exclusion, discrimination, disability, aging, and the rights of women and children will be examined, and intervention methods provided by social work at the individual, family, and community levels will be discussed.
