Brief Content of the Course
Historical development of social policy, scope, issues and definition of social policy, academic foundations of social policy, importance of social policy, industrial revolution and its effects, birth of the working class, historical development of social policy in Turkey, wages, working conditions, employment, collective bargaining, trade unions, social security, Numerical multiplicity of the segments subject to social policies, the nature of the segments subject to social policies, the level of development of social policies as an indicator of the principle of social rule of law, current discussion topics on social problems and social policy problems, social welfare policy, problems and strategies affecting social policy formation in selected regions. The rapid growth of global economies in recent years has led to the utilisation of more natural resources in the production of goods and services. Problems arising from industrial and individual overconsumption on the one hand, and social problems such as social inequalities, scarcity and poverty caused by overconsumption on the other, have necessitated an understanding that emphasises social and efficiency in products and production. Sustainable development policies, which ensure the construction of an economically, thermally and socially sustainable system without harming the opportunities that meet the needs of future generations, are suitable for reshaping consumption.
