Course Objective
To increase the knowledge level of prospective teachers about the characteristics of various instructional technologies and their integration into the process, to know the basic features that instructional materials should have, and to increase their level of knowledge about the place and importance of instructional materials in teaching social studies.
Brief Content of the Course
Using field-specific instructional technologies; software types and uses; design and development principles of materials to be used in teaching the field; determining material needs; designing two- and three-dimensional teaching materials; worksheets; transparencies; VCD, DVD, MP3 and MP4 files etc. development of teaching materials; Evaluation of classroom practices for different teaching materials.
