Course Objective
To have information about Turkish folk dances and regional dances.
Brief Content of the Course
Definition of folklore; Rhythm and perception studies, dance, folk dance and figure studies are taught. In addition, regional differences, figure studies, local figures, bar type local figures are taught in folk dances. Halay and spoon type local figure, horon and welcome type local figure, zeybek type local figure are taught. Studies on the attitude and playing styles of learned games; staging of folk dances, staging types and differences.
