Course Objective
This course is intended to be gained 20. century art movements and trends, westernization period, 20.century art and aesthetic, implementation of European techniques for traditional Turkish painting.
Brief Content of the Course
German Expressionism, group of Die Brücke, group of Der Blaue Reiter, widespread of Expressionism in Europe;Cubism, Orfizm, Futurizm, and the emergence of futurism in Italy, spread of futurism in Italy, Surrealism, Constructivism,Dadaism, abstract Expressionism, examples of first canvas painting,19.century art events, first exhibition in Istanbul, foreign artists.
