Course Objective
To gain knowledge and skill in protected areas, planning principles, planning, and protected areas in Turkey.
Brief Content of the Course
Fundamentals concepts regarding nature protection, relationships between environmental protection and nature protection, the history of nature protection, importance and reasons of nature concervation, the status of protected areas, declaration criteria of protected areas, legal arrangement and organizations in the determination of protected areas, nature protection organization, Protected areas in Turkey.
