Course Objective
The primary objective of this course is to provide information on the essential topics for protecting, developing, and maintaining the physical, mental, and social health of mothers, children, and families.
Brief Content of the Course
The definition of child health, the status of child health in our country and globally, basic approaches in early childhood, improving child health, pregnancy development, risky pregnancies, substance abuse during pregnancy, miscarriages, child health assessment, approaching children during assessment, physical development (dental, height, weight) and monitoring of children aged 0-6, childhood illnesses (diarrhea and respiratory infections, immunizations and rashes, parasitic infections, etc.) and prevention methods, child medication use, vaccinations, reactions to hospitalization, breastfeeding, skin-to-skin contact, family planning, first aid for fractures and dislocations, burns, injuries, insect bites, poisoning, foreign object ingestion, etc.
