Course Objective
It aims to teach the basic knowledge about the process of the formation of the mineral deposits of the student. It is also aimed that the students will have general information about the mining potential of our country and the types of mines to be searched by giving the tectonic environments formed by the mineral deposits, the rock groups in these environments-mineralization relations in the world and the different mineral deposits in our country and their general characteristics.
Brief Content of the Course
Basic concepts, Morphology of ore deposits, Ore structure and textures, Classification of ore deposits; Mineral deposits of orthomagnetism (Cr, Ni, Fe, Pt and Ti deposits), Pegmatitic ore deposits, Gorgian type ore deposits, Porphyry type ore deposits, Scarn type ore deposits, Massive deposits, mineral deposits, mineral deposits and hydrothermal alteration Sulphide type ore deposits, hydrothermal ore deposits, epithermal deposits of Au, sediments of Fe and Mn deposits, ore deposits (residues Al, Fe and Ni deposits); Secondary enrichment, plaser type ore deposits, plate tectonic theory and ore deposits
