Course Objective
Basic definitions of mechanics and basic information about vectors and their applications. To teach solution methods of static problems. To teach how to calculate mass center and moment of inertia. Kinematics of particles and basic principles of kinetics.

Definition of mechanics and its classification, principles of mechanics, dimensional analysis, vector mechanics, moment, equilibrium and problems of planar and space bodies, distributed loads, mass center and moment of inertia, kinematics of particles, displacement, velocity, acceleration, absolute and relative motion, coordinate transformations, particle kinetics, force, mass and acceleration, equations of motion
