Course Objective
To teach structural system design and loading analysis in civil engineering. To teach static and dynamic analysis of two and/or three dimensional reinforced concrete and steel structures. To show free vibration analysis spectral analysis and time dependent solutions in structural mechanics and their application fields.
Brief Content of the Course
General application principles of structural analysis programs, coordinate systems, analysis of frame systems, bridge analysis, space system analysis, shearwall analysis, slab analysis, analysis of multi-storey buildings, radial foundation analysis, solution of beam on elastic foundation, shell analysis, analysis and dimensioning of frames and space systems
