Course Objective
The aim of the course is to be have an idea of students about current economic problems in the world, they will be learning information and concepts required to follow developments in the world economy.
Brief Content of the Course
An overview of the open economy macroeconomics context of the world economy, national economies in the world economy, the foreign exchange market, balance of payments, foreign trade and international division of labor, foreign trade and prices, tariffs and quotas, political economy of trade policy, foreign trade restrictions and macroeconomics, trade balance and income adjustment, adjustment of the exchange rate, capital flows and balance of payments, balance of payments and money are studied.
Prerequisites
Foreign Economy, Foreign Exchange and Prices, Customs tariffs and quotas, Political Economy of foreign trade policy, Foreign trade restrictions, Macroeconomics, foreign trade balance and income adjustment, adjustment of exchange rate, capital flows and payments balance, payoffs and money issues are covered.
