Course Objective
This course aims to familiarize prospective teachers with the principles of professional ethics, help them understand the moral responsibilities of the teaching profession, and develop their ethical decision-making skills in educational settings.
Brief Content of the Course
The concept and importance of professional ethics; foundations of teaching profession ethics; professional values and areas of responsibility in teaching; ethics in teacher-student, teacher-parent, and teacher-colleague relationships; principles of equality, justice, and impartiality in education; confidentiality and privacy; ethics in professional development; ethical dilemmas in teaching; prevention of unethical behavior; national and international ethical standards in teaching.
