Learning Outcomes Of the Course 
ÖÇ1The student will be able to apply the first and second evaluation techniques of the sick or injured and explain the importance of these evaluations.
ÖÇ2The student will be able to determine the positions suitable for the conditions of the sick or injured and apply these positions.
ÖÇ3The student will be able to comprehend the rescue and extraction techniques of the sick or injured and will be able to apply these techniques.
ÖÇ4Student will be able to define the fluids and drugs used in pre-hospital emergency care and explain the intended use of these substances.
ÖÇ5The student will have basic knowledge about drug applications and will be able to make drug applications using this information.
ÖÇ6The student will be able to evaluate the airway, respiration and circulation of the patient by making the primary evaluation of the patient and interpret the results of these evaluations.
ÖÇ7The student will be able to perform a detailed physical examination by making a secondary evaluation of the patient and will be able to detect visible or invisible injuries.
ÖÇ8The student will be able to comprehend the importance of evaluating the scene and will be able to list the situations that need to be evaluated at the scene.
ÖÇ9The student will be able to define the characteristics of stretchers used in the transportation of the patient and the injured and explain which stretcher should be used in which emergency situations.
ÖÇ10The student will be able to evaluate the vital signs of the patient and the injured and will be able to detect deviations from normal in these findings.
ÖÇ11Student will be able to list the principles of transportation for patients with special conditions (elderly, children, pregnant, disabled) and apply these principles.
ÖÇ12Student will be able to apply the principles of transport mechanics necessary to protect both the patient and himself/herself in patient/injured transportation.
