1To understand the history and development of health services management in the world and in our country.
2Being able to define management, understand management styles and manager types
3Understanding the position of the nursing profession in the world and in our country
4Knowing the duties, authorities and responsibilities of nurses, understanding the contribution of midwives/nurses at the management level to the provision of health services
5Be aware of the independence, self-confidence and leadership behaviors required by a professional manager and be able to develop these behaviors.
6Knowing the laws, regulations and legislations used in health services management (Inpatient Treatment Institutions Operation Regulation, Nursing Law, Law No. 657 etc.)
7To comprehend team work in providing health services and its importance
8Understanding teamwork and its importance in providing health services
9Understanding of the problems that the manager will frequently encounter (staff shortage, orientation of new staff, ensuring patient and staff safety, etc.) and methods of intervening in these problems
