Course Objective
The objective of this course is to provide students with general information about the concept and understanding of the university; to inform them about the regulations and guidelines regarding university life; to have an idea about national and international opportunities and to introduce them to the university's management and service units; and to increase students' participation in various scientific, cultural, artistic and sporting activities.

In this course, the concept and understanding of the university, the mission, vision and strategic plan of Nigde Omer Halisdemir University1, Providing information about Student Affairs2, Introduction to Arts and Science Clubs3, Providing information about Nigde Omer Halisdemir University Associate and Undergraduate Education-Teaching and Examination Regulation4, Academic etiquette and discipline rules for students/Human Rights5, Providing information by student exchange program coordinators6, Measurement and assessment of pain7, Preparing effective presentations, internet and media literacy, and time management8, Evaluating information sources/critical thinking/developing reading skills/how to read an academic article9, How to write an academic assignment10, What is plagiarism/citation?11, Information about lifelong learning and social responsibility projects12 Quality and accreditation process13, Writing a CV and petition14 will be explained.
