Course Objective
The aim of the Graphic course is to provide students with an emphasis on basic graphic design principles, symmetrical and asymmetrical design, alignment, etc. to enable them to create effective and understandable designs using. In this context, students can create business cards, posters, logos, portfolios, etc. as design products. The aim is to examine the samples and create new and original designs based on these designs. In addition, within the scope of sustainability, students are encouraged to use materials other than waste and nature or to carry out sustainability-related studies.
Brief Content of the Course
The history of graphic design is explained in general. Students are asked to create different and original designs using design principles. Business card, poster, logo and portfolio design samples are examined. Different and original works are created based on these examples.
