Course Objective
The aim of this course is to enable students to use materials such as charcoal, charcoal, charcoal, ink and acrylic paint with different tools. Students are enabled to get to know paints and experience them practically on different surfaces and backgrounds.
Brief Content of the Course
Dyes: Pigments, Dyes, Effect of light on dyes. Paint Retainers: Natural Retainers, Artificial Retainers, Thinners and Solvents; Brushes: Properties and uses of brushes; Paint Floors: Canvas preparation, Oil and watercolor papers and their properties. Painting Paints: Watercolor, Gouache, Oil, Acrylic, Protective and Decor Paints: Synthetic paints, Cellulosic paints, Acrylic paints. Paint Fills: Overlays and litapon. Drawer material types and properties. Paint protectors. Decorative painting techniques and properties of materials used.
