Course Objective
To provide the student with knowledge about typographic language, basic rules of typography and the application of these rules to graphic design problems; to develop the ability to transfer the theoretical knowledge acquired in this field to design practice in different media.
Brief Content of the Course
Various typographic examples are analyzed, and different projects are carried out to support the theoretical course. While examining the aesthetic, functional, and communicative aspects of typography, the course also addresses sustainability and development through eco-friendly design, typographic practices that raise social awareness, and approaches that support cultural sustainability.
