Course Objectives 
1To gain knowledge in surgical sciences such as thoracic surgery, cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics and traumatology, gynecology and obstetrics.
2To be able to describe diseases encountered in surgical sciences, their pathophysiology, symptoms, medications, and other medical treatment methods.
3To be able to know in detail the methods used in the diagnosis of diseases encountered in surgical sciences (laboratory tests, radiologic, and clinical evaluation) and to be able to interpret them during clinical follow-up.
4To be knowledgeable about the differential diagnosis process of diseases encountered in surgical sciences.
5To be knowledgeable about the surgical methods, drug treatments, side effects, and cautions of diseases encountered in surgical sciences.
6To be able to describe other treatment methods of diseases encountered in surgical sciences.
7To learn to collaborate in a multidisciplinary manner with all healthcare professionals on the treatment team in the management of diseases encountered in surgical sciences.
8To be knowledgeable about the role of the physiotherapist in the management of diseases encountered in surgical sciences.
9To be knowledgeable about the definition, pathophysiology, symptoms, medications, and other medical treatments of rare diseases encountered in surgical sciences. Following current literature on diseases encountered in surgical sciences.
10To gain knowledge in surgical sciences such as thoracic surgery, cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics and traumatology, gynecology and obstetrics.
