1To develop an understanding of the historical development, fundamental principles, and current priorities of European Union education policies.
2To enable students to examine the structures, governance, and functioning of education systems in European Union countries from a comparative perspective.
3To develop the ability to analyze the impacts of the European Education Area, the Bologna Process, the European Qualifications Framework, and lifelong learning policies on education systems.
4To foster the ability to evaluate European Union education policies in terms of quality, inclusion, equity, digitalization, and sustainability.
5To develop competence in comparing educational practices in European Union countries with the Turkish education system and discussing their similarities, differences, and implications.
6To cultivate researchers who can critically interpret current national and international developments related to education policies and education systems.
