BOR VOCATIONAL SCHOOL / ELECTRONICS TECHNOLOGIES / ELT2027 - ELECTRICAL MOTORS AND DRIVERS

Learning Outcomes Of the Course
ÖÇ1Learns the topic of Basic Magnetism and comprehends its similarities and differences with electrical circuits.
ÖÇ2Gains knowledge about the general structure, operating principle, types, starting, rotation direction reversal, speed control, and drive systems of DC motors.
ÖÇ3Examines the structures, industrial importance, and application areas of 3-Phase and Single-Phase induction motors, and acquires knowledge about starting techniques, speed control, and drive systems.
ÖÇ4Gains sufficient knowledge by comparing Single-Phase induction motors (which have the widest range of applications in industry) and 3-Phase induction motors in terms of their operating principles, structures, and drive techniques.
ÖÇ5Examines and conducts a comparative analysis of the structure, operating principle, speed adjustment, and drive systems of Universal, Servo, Stepper, and Synchronous motors.
