Course Objectives 
1Ability to understand the methods and techniques used in electrical installations in dangerous and uncomfortable environments.
2Be able to recognize the systems used to overcome the hazards to which electrical installations are exposed in agriculture, animal husbandry and horticulture applications.
3To be able to understand that temporary installations on construction sites require the same considerations as fixed installations, apart from the cable fixing standard.
4To be able to recognize the protection methods of structures and facilities against lightning strikes. To be able to understand the cathodic protection methods used in the protection of structures, pipelines and other equipment against corrosion.
5To understand the structure of auto electrical installations.
6To understand security systems.
7Be able to explain the terms lightning rod, grounding line and protection area.
8Be able to recognize fire alarm, burglar alarm installations and detectors.
9To be able to recognize and learn the concept of compensation, its necessity and its implementation.
