Course Objective
To carry out real-time applications using the knowledge gained from the Microprocessors course including the following topics: basic microprocessor architecture, microprocessor hardware/software structure, assembly language.
Brief Content of the Course
Z80 based experimental setup; inputs; outputs; sub-routines; time delays; digital-to-analog conversion (DAC); analog-to-digital conversion (ADC); seven segment display; key pad scanning; DC motor control; temperature control; step motor control.
