Course Objective
The aim of this course is to teach the basics of hardware design and software development for 8-bit microcontroller-based systems. The students will learn PIC-based architecture, interrupt structures, timers, input-output units, and memory organization. They will also gain skills in assembly programming, algorithm development, and practical applications.
Brief Content of the Course
Introduction to microcontroller systems. PIC microcontroller architecture. Programming in assembly language. Interrupts, timers, input-output units, and memory structure. Basic hardware applications and simple projects.
Prerequisites
It is recommended to take the Microprocessors course before this course.
