Course Objectives 
1Students will comprehend the chain of infection and transmission routes, recognize common infections in dentistry, and correctly apply the principles, methods, and devices of disinfection and sterilization. They will be able to ensure infection control in the clinical environment, including dental units and water systems, through personal protective measures. In addition, they will plan and implement infection control in radiology, surgery, implantology, endodontics, prosthodontics, and orthodontics; manage medical waste in accordance with regulations; and understand the importance of vaccinations for healthcare professionals.
