Course Objective
To learn about the sounds in New Uyghur Turkish. To examine the historical development of these sounds. To compare these sounds in New Uyghur Turkish with the sounds in other Turkic dialects.
Brief Content of the Course
Information is provided on the New Uyghur Turkish alphabets. The sounds in this alphabet are introduced. The historical development of these sounds is presented. These sounds are compared with those of other Turkic dialects.
Prerequisites
Having previously taken and passed the Uyghur Turkish course.
