Course Objective
Provide information about industrial pollution and industrial waste characterization in different industries to promote the industry for the treatment of industrial waste water treatment plant design and teach.
Brief Content of the Course
Sampling, characterization and important parameters of industrial wastewater; industrial wastewater discharge standards and regulations; The importance of pretreatment in industrial wastewater treatment and examples of pretreatment; sustainable wastewater management approaches in industries; waste minimization, recovery and reuse alternative evaluations; Examples from various industries (textile, paper, leather, food, slaughterhouse) and evaluation of treatment methods that can be applied for these industrial wastewaters
