Course Objective
The aim of the Plant Biotechnology course is to educate contemporary and competent individuals in the field of plant biotechnology who are equipped with theoretical knowledge and practical skills, capable of conducting research and developing innovations, committed to ethical and legal responsibility, aware of the importance of sustainable agriculture and lifelong learning, and qualified to contribute effectively to their profession.
Brief Content of the Course
Definition and historical development of biotechnology, plant biotechnology applications, gene transfer to plants, DNA sequence analysis,sustainable agriculture, legal and ethical dimensions of biotechnology. This course also enables students to understand the relationship between the environment and the concept of sustainability and how human activities affect sustainability.
