Course Objectives 
1To explain the basic physiological and genetic principles of plant propagation methods and to be able to plan seed conservation and germination processes according to scientific principles.
2To be able to flawlessly apply vegetative techniques such as propagation by cutting, layering, and specialized stems/roots, and to select appropriate grafting methods by analyzing problems such as graft incompatibility.
3To evaluate the basic principles and potential uses of modern micropropagation (tissue culture) techniques and to transfer this knowledge into practical application.
