Course Objective
By teaching the cell structure and cellular events, which are the basic units of living systems, at the General Biology level, to provide basic information on developmental biology, embryology, heredity, evolution, speciation, phylogeny, biodiversity, ecology, sustainability and conservation of natural resources.

History and Development Process of Biological Science, Cell Structure and Contents, Cell and Organelles, Cell Theory, Cellular Differences, Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic Cell, Cellular Reproduction, Developmental Biology and Embryology, Molecular Basis of Heredity, Mechanisms of Evolution, Speciation and Phylogeny, Origin of Life and Early Evolution, Evolutionary History of Biological Diversity, Introduction to Ecology and the Biosphere, Sustainability, Population and Community Ecology, Natural Resources Conservation Biology.
