Course Objective
The aim of this course is to promote cultural awareness and national consciousness among students by introducing the historical development, geographical distribution, and cultural characteristics of Turkish culture.
Brief Content of the Course
Turkish culture and Turkish civilization; the first ethnographic sources about the Turks; Turkish states in history; state, administrative, military and social structure among the Turks; the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Turkey; the transfer of natural and cultural heritage to future generations.
