Course Objective
The aim of this course is to provide students with the fundamental statistical knowledge and skills necessary to analyze data encountered in health and nutrition sciences. Students will learn to understand statistical methods, choose appropriate analytical techniques, and interpret results. They will also gain the ability to perform applied data analysis using statistical software such as SPSS.
Brief Content of the Course
Basic statistical concepts; types of data; measures of central tendency and dispersion; normal distribution; sampling methods; hypothesis testing; t-test, chi-square test; correlation and regression analysis; basic data analysis using statistical software such as SPSS.
