Learning Outcomes Of the Course 
1Explains the definition, history and basic sub-fields of psychology and evaluates the relationship of psychology with other branches of science.
2Explains and compares contemporary psychological theories (Behaviorism, Cognitive, Psychoanalytic, etc.). Analyzes the ways these theories explain human behavior.
3Defines research methods used in psychological research and evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of different research techniques.
4Explains the basic structure and functioning of the nervous system. Evaluates the relationship of different regions of the brain with behavior and cognitive processes.
5Explains cognitive, emotional and social development within the scope of developmental psychology and compares different developmental theories.
6Uses and compares learning processes and motivation mechanisms
7Compares, evaluates and analyzes different personality theories.
8Defines and compares abnormal behaviors, psychological disorders, and treatment approaches.
9Explains concepts such as social influence, group dynamics, prejudice, attitude change and analyzes social psychology principles.
10Changes in stress, continuation of living conditions and methods of coping with stress are evaluated.
