Course Objective
Understanding deviations from the basic assumptions of the classical linear regression model and equipping students with corrective measures to address these deviations.
Brief Content of the Course
Multicollinearity problem, tests and criteria related to multicollinearity deviations, solutions to multicollinearity problems, tests for detecting autocorrelation, high-order autocorrelation, estimation methods used in autocorrelation cases, heteroscedasticity, tests for detecting heteroscedasticity, generalized OLS (Ordinary Least Squares), specification errors, model selection criteria for choosing the mathematical formulation of the model, dummy (artificial) variables.
