Course Objective
The aim of this course is to shed light on today. The Science of History provides a better understanding of today's facts. The origins, foundations and causes of today's phenomena lie in the past. The borders drawn, the way the country is governed, the alliances made, trade and peace agreements, and the current political, economic, social and cultural situation in general have their origins and development process in the past.
Brief Content of the Course
The main political, economic, social and cultural facts of the historical period starting from the 19th century of the Ottoman Empire and ending with the signing of the Treaty of Lausanne in 1923, and basic academic comments on them.
