Course Objective
The aim of this course is to enable students to understand the fundamentals of Olympism and to apply the fundamentals of Olympic education within general education.
Brief Content of the Course
History of modern and ancient Olympics, philosophy of Olympicism, what is Olympic education?, examining the Olympic education approach in individual education, examining the reflection of Olympic philosophy on education, comparatively examining sports education and Olympic education in individual education. To contribute to a phenomenon that will bring peace and well-being to the human family with Olympism and the Olympic Spirit with the values considered as virtues in sports and to transform this phenomenon into behavior in the individual.
