PO-1 Have basic interest about the anatomy and physiology of the eye.

PO-2 Have knowledge about the history of opticianism, the powers and responsibilities of the optician profession, health and optician terminology.

PO-3 Uses optical software packages and digital applications effectively; utilizes professional informatics and communication technologies.

PO-4 Uses basic optical instruments effectively and possesses up-to-date knowledge about optical devices such as spectacle lenses, frames, and contact lenses.

PO-5 Performs professional duties and responsibilities independently by using acquired knowledge and skills.

PO-6 Follows innovations in optical technologies and integrates them into work processes.

PO-7 Acts in accordance with the laws, regulations, legislation regarding duties, rights and responsibilities in the field of Opticianry and develops solutions by considering professional and ethical values.
